Having just picked up a litte MX5 for autocrossing, then coming across this show I'm enjoying it and the process of getting into cars and racing. Im a few eps into season 2 right now.

It's a great show, however, as many drivers have mentioned in interviews, it is edited big time (such as misplacing interview bits into other situations) to create drama where there was none of it. But it is cool that thanks to it, more US people are following the series.

Really hoping the USGP can go on this year. I have a ticket for Canada but I am positive that one ain't happening.

Can't wait for next Friday, love the show, watched both seasons a couple of times. Testing in Bahrain starts tomorrow.

Some things I'm looking forward to this season:

Mercedes: Are they going to run away with everything again? Hamilton getting close to hanging it up? He's got nothing left to prove at this point. Both he and Bottas are on one year contracts, this just feels like the last time those two are on the same team.

Red Bull: Can Max turn the corner and push ahead of Hamilton or Bottas? How well will he and Perez co-exist, Perez has a lot of ability, I don't think he just accepts a number 2 role, especially after getting released from Racing Point, he wants to win.

McLaren: Showed a lot of strides last year, lost Sainz but gained Ricciardo. He and Norris are both capable drivers, either one of them could lead the team, McLaren could push in front of Red Bull with a good car.

Aston Martin: Gone is the pepto-pink, hello British Racing Green, best looking car this year, gorgeous. I think Vettel is going to tell us a lot about this team, bad season last year with Ferrari, if the car is good he could be a top 3 finisher again.

Alpine: Renault no more, and Alonso is back after having spent a couple of years in F1. I was surprised they brought Alonso back rather than try to sign Gasly and get a Frenchman behind the wheel.

Ferrari: An uncharacteristically bad year, something was just off with the car, totally inconsistent. Leclerc and Sainz are an interesting combo. Curious to see how often they are fighting for podiums or are they a mid-tier team again?

Alpha Tauri: Gasly was so good last year, he might be my favorite driver these days. Tsunoda moving up to the big show is intriguing. If Gasly has another big year one of the bigger team has to pick him up, things didn't work out with Red Bull when he was there but I just don't think that's a good team for him.

Haas: I just feel they're destined for the gutter this year. They've already said they're planning for next year and they're bringing on two rookie drivers in Schumacher and Mazepin. They could be a disaster this year and Schumacher could regret signing with them.

Alfa Romeo: I don't understand why they signed Raikkonen again and not Schumacher. It's time for Raikkonen to hang it up.

Williams: New ownership, this will be their last year with Russell. He's going to be with Mercedes next year after they part ways with one or both drivers after the season.

Canadian Grand Prix is great. Went in '99 when the Wall of Champions got its name:
