Gattaca and Enemy of the State both fit really well. Gattaca really holds up well and feels a bit of a timeless story. Similar to metropolis is just plays well in any decade. Enemy of the state somewhat holds up too and gene hackman is awesome in it. Jack Black is even in the movie but his scenes are always dominated by the impish 90s mainstay Seth Green. Dude is a tiny weird creature. If you shaved his head, he'd be Gollem's son.
Anyway, great additions! Here is one that sort of makes the list though some would call this a horror film. I prefer to think of it as a hard thriller along the level of seven and silence of the lambs though its certainly not even close to being as good as the other two.
One more recomendation that features some neat glimpses of computers in the 90s, this film follows the story of an agoraphobic psychologist who specializes in serial killers. It's pretty fringe to be on this list but I really like the parts where it features the internet and the main character leans heavily on these tools as she can never leave the house. Another hard thriller but I thought it held up well and was a bit of a hidden gem. Came out in 95 similar to hackers, virtuosity and the net this one has quite the cast.
