I just finished "Educated" by Tara Westover. I enjoyed it and found it inspirational to see her overcome the obstacles of her upbringing to make something of herself. It reminded me a bit of "Hillbilly Elegy" by JD Vance.

I learned I enjoy personal memoirs and biographies.

Any suggestions for one you've enjoyed? I'm looking to be inspired right now.

I have heard that Sir Alex Fergusons book is great. Have not read it though it is on my list.

Same with "Five Years To Freedom" by Col. Nick Rowe

That book doesn't get the love it deserves. And I'm not just saying that because he's a hometown hero of mine.

I started a thread here years ago about the boys in the boat and a movie supposedly coming..
Weinstein owned it so it died for a while, but a few months ago MGM announced it is happening, with Clooney directing. Screen Play is supposedly done, written by the guy writing Star Trek for QT.
