Both look either meh or terrible, but I have a fantasy/sci fi itch. Anyone watched either?
Great cliffhanger for Season 2. I too thought it was pretty slow in some of the middle episodes, but I think it helped develop the character a bit and developed some of the relationships. I see potential for Season 2.Champ Bailey said:
Kept waiting for Warrior Nun to get better. Last episode finally does.
Agree with this. Felt like I had to survive a few episodes of character development. Episodes 2, 3, and 4 could have been told in maybe 1 episode. It starts to pick up in the last three episodes. And I really enjoyed the cliffhanger.Aggie4242 said:
Finally finished episode 7 last night and it got a lot better. Could have skipped episodes 2-4 and just watched Ep 1 then 5-10, it seems.
If you're looking for a King Arthur show to watch, watch Merlin. I believe it's on Amazon Prime right now. It's a fun Monster of the Week type show for the first part, but gets better and darker as it goes on with a overarching story line. It's a little bit of a guilty pleasure for me. I believe it's 4 or 5 seasons long.howdydamnit04 said:
I just started ep 8 of Cursed. This show is utter garbage.
If it wasn't for covid there is no way I'd have watched this crap. Now I just want to see how it terribly it ends.
Unless the love story angle comes back into play, I don't even know why they dedicated 3.5 episodes to all of that. It seemed like they couldn't decide if they wanted to tell a story about her experiencing the world for the first time or being a Warrior Nun. They missed out on some great 80s style training montages!Andyzipp said:Agree with this. Felt like I had to survive a few episodes of character development. If they can continue with Season 2 without telling us all things a quadriplegic, and then dead girl "sacrified" to receive the halo over and over again, it could be pretty solid.
it gets better, but the middle is LOOOOOOOONGAgGrad99 said:
Couldnt stick with WN.
It was slow, and some parts were really dumb. The idea was neat...but it never went anywhere.
writing is on the wall, lead gonna hook up with her training partner, training partner dies, lead hooks up with the dude again. CW writing at its finest.Aggie4242 said:Unless the love story angle comes back into play, I don't even know why they dedicated 3.5 episodes to all of that.Andyzipp said:Agree with this.
