I'be been really busy as of the last year or two and now I finally am back to normal where I can start watching things again. I just posted that I have finally started Curb Your Enthusiasm and I wanted some recommendations or opinions on these shows (if they're worth watching) and some other shows I don't know about. I have streaming services HBO Max, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTubeTv. The shows I have on my radar that I've never seen but I'm wanting to watch for the first time are:

Arrested Development - just started it and it's GREAT - I see the appeal after only 2 episodes
Curb Your Enthusiasm - 5 episodes in
The Sopranos
The Wire
Yellowstone
Longmire
That 70's show - several episodes into the first season and it's pretty funny too

Arrested Development is the greatest comedy of all time. I wish I had not seen it yet.

Battlestar Galactica - the reboot; not the original

Do yourself a favor and stop after the third season. The fourth season re-edit was infinitely better than the first crack at season 4, but not nearly as good as the first three seasons. I haven't seen season 5 because I'm afraid it will be worse than season 4.

I'm in the middle of my 30th re-watch of the series and still finding jokes and Easter eggs I've missed. I'll probably finally give season 5 a try this time around though.

I second Letterkenny...may need subtitles if you don't speak 'Canadian'....but that is what I appreciates about you

Bosch is another good recent one. Justified might be my favorite show of all time.

Also Scrubs, Community, Parks and Rec, and 30 Rock for the silliness.

Shows I watched that I wish I had the time back.

both such a mess of each season not even trying to have any continuity of character development
Battlestar was truly a "make it up as we go along" by the writers

Season 5 of Arrested Development was okay, but seasons 1, 2, and 3 were the best.

It started out great, but I agree, sometime into Season 2 it started getting into WTF territory, and then just kept going down the hole.

Succession is a great slow burn. Dark is really good but makes my brain hurt

Another vote for The Americans. I just finished this series and rank it with the best I've seen. Stellar acting and writing along with great 1980's period detail. HIGHLY recommend.

Watched 24 season 1 with the wife. Might go to season 3, but apparently the consensus is that S5 was the best one.

Might watch Lost with her eventually.

I think eventually the first 3 seasons of Walking Dead - but no further.

Just wrapped up another rewatch of NYPD Blue.

Older show but damn does it still hold up well years later. OP this is the show you should go with.
