Besides being a technological marvel on scale with the Matrix in terms of VFX, getting permission to get these two cartoon icons on the screen at the same time was showing off in a way that's impossible today. Especially knowing Disney's fanaticism on defending their own IP.

This was not a favorite, but I really liked The Critic when it was on. Unfortunately, it hasn't aged well (since it makes heavy use of contemporary pop culture), and this crossover episode into The Simpsons isn't very good. And most people seeing it today on reruns are probably wondering who tf this character is.

I agree. But I still was on Team Piazza in the Piazza-Clemens feud. Clemens was from Houston, but he was also a lying, cheating, meathead, juicehead, hothead sip, who also played for the Yankees. Piazza was just a mulletted guido with molester 'stache and a terrible arm.
