Don't know if there's a thread for this movie or not but I wanted to make one so everyone has a place to discuss.

Thought the movie was hot garbage. Probably the worst movie I've seen in theaters in a decade.

Came in without watching a single preview, (wife bought the tickets so we could go eat at Alamo) and I had absolutely zero expectations. Guessed the entire movie in about 15-min and most of the movie was cringe worthy bad.

If there's another thread I'll share details but didn't want to post spoilers on the wrong thread.

TLDR: IMO skip this one

I've literally never heard of this movie before, so I guess they knew it sucked and didn't spend much on marketing.

I think we're over saturated with mutants these days, maybe time to put that genre on the shelf for awhile.

It was a movie that Fox filmed back in 2017. It was in reshoot hell forever. Then Fox got bought by Disney. Then COVID happened (it was finally supposed to come out in March).

Disney clearly had not idea what to do with it at this point. Guess they thought was to just release it and make back a couple million $. Everyone knew the movie was dead on arrival.

So this is different from the tv series?

I was happy to see those characters make the big screen.

It was weird to see Lockheed with Ilyana instead of Kitty. Anna Joy Taylor is also a bit weird looking with those wide eyes

Probably was part of a contact that it had to be released.
