Last night, some friends and I were discussing how Jason Alexander never won an Emmy for playing George and how they was a travesty. One friend loves Elaine and said she was the better of the two because "she delivered lines great and brought the group together. George was just annoying."

I argued George was indeed annoying Among many others thing (one being hilarious) but the way His character would just burst and ramble continuously made him more deserving.

What say the EB? George or Elaine?

The fact that George isnt synonymous with lazy and/or Selfish shows how perfectly written he was.

Elaine was overrated

Agree with this. He's pretty much on my tv show Mt. Rushmore with Homer Simpson, Walter White and Tony Soprano.

George was always the best. Learning more about Larry David from watching Curb after Seinfeld ended and how the character George was basically based on himself makes it even better.
