Vivid seats are $300 or so. Think those come down once the "freshness" is over?

My little guy is only 1/4.

These tickets went on sale before half of the general public even knew the band was getting back together. I don't think second-hand tickets will come down until TT starts announcing shows coming closer to the fans.

Just got in only to be disappointed. Let's you go in and select your section and how many seats only to tell you no tix available after you continue.

Same, except resale in the 300s. Frustrating.

Anyone have suggestions on where to stay? We have a big group (16+ people) going.

There's nothing really close. And I'd strongly consider renting a car if you weren't, ubering from it is a pain in the ass and expensive.

I'd figure out what you want to do in the region and plan housing on that, then just drive to the show and tailgate (or at least drink) in the lots

Same here, but mine are now $350. When was the original sale? This was just announced and now all the tickets are resale?!?! Or is this from everyone that purchased yesterday and now they are already reselling them?

Musicians are going to have to step up to make any changes to this process, and you would think they would want to because they aren't seeing these profits.

I am not paying $300/ticket to see Turnpike. Sorry but no. I've seen them several times already. It's great they're back together but they can't be demanding George Strait prices. **** outta here.

Guess I'll just wait till they inevitably come run the texas gauntlet and catch em at whitewater or the new nutty brown amphitheater

They aren't demanding anything. Tickets were literally $50 and it just sold out. If people are willing to pay $300 they will stay that high and if not they will come down.

Have you never been to a Red Rocks concert before? Those are pretty typical prices for 3rd party. Red Rocks only seats 9500 and typically always sells out quick.

Now is probably the worst time to buy. Give it some time and prices will probably go down.

You think those AXS Premium tickets aren't going to Turnpike's pockets?

You think they aren't getting a cut of AXS Resale?

I would not think the artist is getting any % of resale.

Resale via the primary (AXS) they absolutely are depending on how the contract is structured. Resale, "Platinum", etc... All things that are built into the contract.

They are 100% no doubt getting a portion of the resale if it's included in their contract. Well...yeah. That's true for anything.

It's really hit and miss. I got Dwight Yoakum and Old Crow for face value at $75 after fees at Red Rocks this summer. That was an amazing show.

Well, Pearl Jam tried about 25 years ago and failed.

My point is if you think most of these artists/agents contracts don't have a kickback for "Platinum/Premium" seats as well as resale seats sold on the primary market you are kidding yourself. Why do you think they've made notation of restricting transfer on these tickets but resale is open? Because if people sell on Stubhub and transfer out, Turnpike and AXS won't get that resale cut.

Apparently Garth Brooks was pretty successful on his 2014 tour but not many could do what he did - just created a new date when tickets were close to selling out.

the only tickets that have restricted transfer are rows 1-4.

I have GA tickets that it won't allow me to transfer. I assume it is temporary and they will be transferable when we get closer to event time.

For people wondering on where to stay/how to get to Red Rocks there are party busses that run from downtown Denver to Red Rocks. Pretty reasonably priced considering how far of a drive it is and how expensive Ubers are here.

That being said Downtown Denver isn't all that special. There's enough to keep you entertained for a weekend, but not much that separates it from any other decent sized city. Rockies games are fun, but nightlife wise even the cool spots shut down pretty early, it's weird.

All tickets are restricted from transfer as of today's onsale. They will *likely* open up, but the whole idea is to funnel buyers to sell on AXS platform.
agdaddy04

If that's the case then all of the tickets listed currently can't be collected.

Yeah I'm pretty convinced not all seats for these big shows/ tours are even available once at face value.

I know red rocks has corp tickets, plus your standard promo tics, I'd be shocked if more than half even went on sale to the general public. I think they also hold 1-2k back as "resale" that just never went on sale so they can get "market price" for some too.

Many pro teams have deals with StubHub to sell even blah regular season mlb tickets.

At HLSR, a lot of people think the scalpers scoop everything up, but they don't know that because of season tickets a majority of the seats are gone before they go on sale. The upper levels are the only thing available once they go on sale to the general public.
