Vivid seats are $300 or so. Think those come down once the "freshness" is over?
My little guy is only 1/4.

These tickets went on sale before half of the general public even knew the band was getting back together. I don't think second-hand tickets will come down until TT starts announcing shows coming closer to the fans.emac0002 said:

Same, except resale in the 300s. Frustrating.bluefire579 said:

Anyone have suggestions on where to stay? We have a big group (16+ people) going.

I am not paying $300/ticket to see Turnpike. Sorry but no. I've seen them several times already. It's great they're back together but they can't be demanding George Strait prices. **** outta here.
Guess I'll just wait till they inevitably come run the texas gauntlet and catch em at whitewater or the new nutty brown amphitheater

Musicians are going to have to step up to make any changes to this process, and you would think they would want to because they aren't seeing these profits.
They are 100% no doubt getting a portion of the resale if it's included in their contract. Well...yeah. That's true for anything.Proposition Joe said:
Resale via the primary (AXS) they absolutely are depending on how the contract is structured.

Have you never been to a Red Rocks concert before? Those are pretty typical prices for 3rd party. Red Rocks only seats 9500 and typically always sells out quick.

I have GA tickets that it won't allow me to transfer. I assume it is temporary and they will be transferable when we get closer to event time.agdaddy04 said:
the only tickets that have restricted transfer are rows 1-4.

Yeah I'm pretty convinced not all seats for these big shows/ tours are even available once at face value.Proposition Joe said:Goldie Wilson said:They are 100% no doubt getting a portion of the resale if it's included in their contract. Well...yeah. That's true for anything.Proposition Joe said:

My point is if you think most of these artists/agents contracts don't have a kickback for "Platinum/Premium" seats as well as resale seats sold on the primary market you are kidding yourself. Why do you think they've made notation of restricting transfer on these tickets but resale is open? Because if people sell on Stubhub and transfer out, Turnpike and AXS won't get that resale cut.

I know red rocks has corp tickets, plus your standard promo tics, I'd be shocked if more than half even went on sale to the general public. I think they also hold 1-2k back as "resale" that just never went on sale so they can get "market price" for some too.
Many pro teams have deals with StubHub to sell even blah regular season mlb tickets.
