Just finished it with the kids. The movies with a lot of big name actors never seem to be good. This was awful.
Does anyone else find Sandler's wife to be weird looking? She has been in his last couple of films including this one and I know she is a former model and all but her features are off putting to me.

Pro tip: If you watch Scary Movie 5 first, this movie seems like The Godfather in comparison.

Yeah I am really trying with this one but it really just makes you stop and think, "geez Sandler and his friends got really old, really fast." Then I looked in the mirror, yikes.
Dang, I was really hoping this would be a good one, especially given the cast.

She's in basically every one of his films. Wife and I watched Big Daddy the other day and she was the waitress at the bar where he takes Sonny to watch the Jets game.
Wife and I stopped 15 minutes into it. The references, and actors/actresses callback, to his other films were the only redeeming value. We were going to make a list and catch as many as possible.

I think it's a fun movie. It's just a free TV movie. Like many made for TV movies it's a simple film and humorous in that made for tv style

I dont know man. It was a waste of time and I am exactly their target audience. It was worse than bad. I dont think there was a single redeemable thing about it. It just felt like a cash grab or a movie made to fulfill a contract with netflix...oh wait, it was!

I definitely wouldn't say it's better than 90% of the other stuff on TV, it was pretty awful. Like not in a "this is bad but entertaining" way like early Sandler, but more like I was cringing while watching it from how terrible it was. It's like every single actor and the director knew the movie was bad, and just gave no effort, did everything in one take and just said "**** it, it's a Netflix Sandler movie". You knew the second Sandler started talking with his "handicapped" voice that this was going to be terrible.

There was one humorous scene. The one where the father looked defeated, as his wife snapped photos of their daughter dressed as Harley Quinn.

Not really a Sandler fan...but suffered through this one. The first 20-30 minutes were pretty boring. It ended better than it started, which is about the best I can say.
The scene with Shaq and his wife was pretty funny. For a second I could have sworn the wife was played by Jack Black...which would have been really funny. But alas, it wasn't.

This movie reminded me of Sandler's early stuff (Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore). Just silly comedy.
Thought the Shaq cameo was pretty solid. And the running thermos gag was fun.

I am a big Sandler fan- Happy Gilmore is one of my all time favorite movies.

Watched it this week. I'm not a big fan of the weird voice he used; it seemed like a cross between Little Nicky and Waterboy, and the plot points were a bit tired, but it wasn't as bad as some here made it out to be. Definitely not a recommendation for younger kids. If I had to give it a grade, I'd say D. Less than average Sandler, but a few humorous spots and not unwatchable.
Wife and I made it about 10 minutes. We couldn't take that voice anymore.
I made it to Buscemi's first scene as the kind neighbor, by then Sandler bugged the hell out of me and I couldnt go on.
Watched it with my 4th grade girl and 5th grade boy. It was a fine way to spend a Sunday night with the family. It was not good by any means, but my kids laughed out loud multiple times and I got a kick out of the throwback gimmicks. I won't ever watch it again, but it wasn't a waste of of 100 minutes.
Tried watching it last night with the family. It was awful. I think if he didn't have that stupid accent, it would have been tolerable. We turned it off and opted to watch Happy Gilmore instead.
