As awful as the movie was, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants had an amazing Greek setting.

That crappy Beach movie Leo did after Titanic.

It would be a crap vacation, but hell or high water IS a trip through West Texas.

I guess I should rephrase- it doesn't have to be a vacation type setting (although that's always welcome), but rather a setting so well done you feel like you are visiting the place.

These are the two that came to mind for me. Walter Mitty is such a beautiful movie with great music and it immediately put Iceland on my list of must see places.

I lived in Singapore for two years, so Crazy Rich Asians was a great trip back to memory lane. You should definitely visit.

Watching Longmire made me really want to visit northern New Mexico, where they filmed instead of Wyoming.

Really bothers you that the movie reminds me of West Texas, huh? See, what will really blow your brain is that YOU can watch the movie and feel like it reminds you of Clovis, NM, and I can watch it and it remind me of Hereford, TX. Thats the beauty of a thread about feelings.
Now, I'm gonna flip the script and say that Dazed and Confused, which is supposed to be 1976 Tyler or Nacogdoches, reminds me of the film location (1991 Austin) instead of the setting. Gosh I hope you approve. Hopefully nobody mentions any space movies.
