Yep. I'll have to watch last night's episode online since KHOU and other Tegna owned stations are blocked on Direct TV.

I still love TAR but I preferred it when the teams had more control on their travel.

We're watching because the DVR remembers to record it, and there's not much else new to catch.

This has been a pretty weak season.

I think he's got a good shot. He's definitely carrying their team. It is kinda sad how poorly he drove the standard considering he made a big deal about getting lessons.

I've not been very engaged with this season, but not sure why. I feel like the edit makes what some characters say VERY repetitive - like the engineering duo talking about how they are engineers all the damn time.

Well, producers always describe the Asian couple as "married parents" which makes us giggle.

I was thinking the same thing after the slide puzzle!

Its actually been over 2 years now. Season was filmed November 2018.

Per the edit, I'd put money on either "boyfriends" or "volleyball bro's". I know that's 50% of the teams left now, but its what I would have said if I'd seen this thread around the end of episode 3.
I've been rooting for Hung and Chee; they seem like solid people.

H&C have been the best overall team this season so far.

I don't think they get the prize money until after their season airs. That would be A LONG time to wait for a million dollars!

I heard the same recently. Thats a crazy long wait for 500k. Long enough to buy too many stupid things.
But even for the leg winners. You're waiting 2yrs for the 5k prize or the trip to Ireland (that you can't take for another yr).

I read it wasn't aired in the spring because a show would be needed for fall/winter since Survivor couldn't film due to Covid.

Huge mistake by the married couple who figured out the music sequence: they should have given the answer to the weakest team (football players) not the two strongest teams.

Now they have two strong teams to compete with in the final.

The alliance of the strongest teams was somewhat self defeating in the long run. Much like Survivor, you have to consider who to take to the final. A blind side in this instance would have eliminated the a Gay Boys or the Volleyball Guys.

Seems they just wanted to stay alive by bullying the weak teams that they just didn't like.

Crappy season really, however we will get to see the 3 strongest teams race each other in the final.

I don't blame DeAngelo fir being upset.

I think it's the Volleyball boys that win.

That being said, they are fairly annoying!

agreed...i have no idea if it's offensive! i think they were always called the boyfriends.

1. Bad look D'Angelo. You're a pro, don't act like a baby. It sucks the others teamed up but you quit the task - meaning you had no solution.

2. I don't think they can eliminate alliances without just flat out banning teams helping each other. So, IMO, production should ban sharing answers going forward. But I'd also like some stakes/rewards for the legs besides "don't be last". If instead of random 1st place prizes they gave out prize money each leg (say 10k 1st, 5k 2nd, 2k 3rd) then I think that would bring out more of the competitiveness.

Wow, Will and James won by a pretty huge margin.

Have they changed the way it's produced? Because the flights rarely if ever come into play anymore.

Production changed from contestants booking 4x last minute airplane tickets per team (2 team members, 1 cameraman, 1 sound person) to prebooked/private flights as a cost saving measure 2-3-4 seasons ago.
