Best sitcom episodes

So many to choose from, i will pick one from a few of my favorite sitcoms. Many of the best episodes of Sitcoms are the ones that give the feels. I'm going to stay away from those in my list because they are too easy.

Friends: The One With the Embryos. I mean... that's just classic Friends. "That's MISS Chanandler Bong"

How I Met your Mother: Had some great episodes in the first 5 or so season, until it went downhill. I almost chose Slap Bet or The Playbook, but I had to go with Stuff. Barney's revenge play ending in the second slap... just epic.

Scrubs: I mean... so many great moments. My pic at this moment is My Fifteen Minutes. Not one of the big tear jerkers like My Bad, My Old Lady, My Lunch, or My Las Words. It is probably my favorite episode that doesn't end in death. I use the marching band line with people, to this day. I didn't want to post all the videos of his interaction with Dr. Cox, but they are all aces and the ending is fantastic.

New Girl: Jess and Julia. Of the many great Nick and Schmidt moments, the towel rant is probably my favorite. "Who washes a towel?!"

That 70's Show: Hyde's Birthday. Again, so many to choose from. From the beginning of them trying to get the sign down to taking a saw from Red... everything that makes this show great. Kelso's explanation to Red is still my favorite moment in the show.

Thunder Gun Express on always sunny. The river boat scene where Frank is giving the tour is good.

Still one of my favorite episodes, with quite possibly the best backstory to an ending speech ever.

Anyone who says Scott's Tots is too cringey and they skip this episode needs to grow up. It's great, it's peak Michael Scott behavior.

Adding a couple of other shows/episodes

SouthPark -- Scott Tenorman Must Die

Modern Family -- Several good episodes over its long run, but I think "The Party" has some great laughs

Futurama -- Jurassic Bark and Luck of the Fryish.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine -- Halloween episodes are great, but I think "The Box" is the best episode so far.

The Good Place -- the season one finale (Michael's Gambit) and the series finale (Whenever you're ready) are both great.

Better Off Ted -- Underrated show that never had time to get a good rhythm going. However, Racial Insensitivity and Jabberwocky are both great episodes.

This has to be considered the greatest, the whole episode is one giant innuendo. They never outright say what's going on but the whole audience understands and it's freaking hilarious.

Parks and Rec had some gems, but the Andy heavy ones take the cake.

If we're counting animation, "Lisa the Vegetarian" is about the funniest episode of anything I've ever seen.

Am I wrong or was that not actually in any episode? I'm pretty sure it was just an outtake. I watched through the series twice and don't remember it.

In addition to ones already mentioned...

NewsRadio had some great episodes. Super Karate Monkey Death Car, The Cane, and Security Door are a couple of my favorites.

Super Karate Monkey Death Car

My favorite always was "The Smoking Episode" Dave gives up coffee to help Bill give up smoking. They both just continue to get more irritable as the episode goes on. It's an early episode but the potential and chemistry between cast mates is so clearly visible for what it would become.

Bill (regarding cigarettes): "These guys are my little friends. They're always there when I need them, my reliable little buddies."

Dave: "Hey Bill, I'm your friend."

Bill: "Yeah? Where were you last night around three AM when I was watching Steel Magnolias and crying my eyes out?"

(awkward pause)

Dave: "Hey, Bill, I, I have an idea. Tell you what: I'll give up coffee, if you give up cigarettes, huh? We'll go through this thing together."

Bill: "How's that supposed to help me? You should have to give up something of equal difficulty. Like going to the bathroom."

I posted this on another thread but the Product Recall episode of the Office has:

Cold open where Jim impersonates Dwight, complete with "What kind of bear is best?" and the immortal "Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica (which I have as a T-shirt).

The watermark drawing of "Donald Duck" banging "Mickey Mouse"

Creed laments that he's supposed to do 4 hours of QA a week at the paper mill, and the one year he blows it off, this happens.

Kelly's reaction to hearing she's going to be training Oscar, Kevin, and Angela, and her and Kevin's ensuing British and Australian accents.

Creed going into damage control, calling the mill to see who was absent the previous week and pinning the entire situation on that person, ending with him buying a card for her when she gets fired, having everyone contribute money to the card, then trashing the card and keeping the money.

Michael's proposed headline for the story that the Scranton paper will do on his press conference: Scranton Area Paper Company, Dunder Mifflin, Apologizes to Valued Client; Some Companies Still Know How Business is Done."

The reporter from the paper gets a Level 3 security badge from Dwight, who tells him don't be too excited because there are 20 security levels.

Dwight tells the angry customer who is disgusted by the watermark that the sex appeared to be consensual because both animals were smiling.

Michael's apology video ends with an ultimatum

Andy and Jim with the school principal:

Principal:
The issue with the watermark is very serious.
Jim Halpert:
Absolutely.
Principal:
We teach our students that character counts.
Jim Halpert:
And you should--
Andy:
Pfft. You don't teach it well enough. One of your students is a *****.

Michael invoking the term "Threat Level Midnight" for the first time.

Dwight's closing impersonation of Jim.

Karen:
Hey, Dwight. Lookin' sharp.
Dwight Schrute:
Yeah that's because I'm your boyfriend Jim Halpert. Hey Karen, wanna get together later and sexual intercourse 'cuz you're my girlfriend.

Dwight Schrute:
I'm Jim Halpert.
Jim Halpert:
Spot on.
Dwight Schrute:
Yuhh, little comment, mmmh.
Isn't that the episode where Andy finds out his girlfriend is in high school? That episode is creepy as hell. Every normal person I know hates that episode for that very reason. High school girls should not be dating actual adults, and adult men shouldn't be trying to make it happen. That ruined this whole episode.
