Concur with most already stated (especially Peaky Blinders, Ozark, Narcos, Cobra Kai, Stranger Things, Kingdom).

Surprised nobody mentioned The Umbrella Academy. Really enjoyed the first two seasons.

Also for animated series, F is For Family with Bill Burr is really good.

I only made it through a couple of episodes of Dark Mirror and couldn't watch anymore. Way too weird for my tastes.

Oh yeah - I've read all the Last Kingdom books and couldn't bring myself to enjoy the series. It was fun, but the books make you appreciate the real depth of the story and you miss it in the series.

Haven't watched yet but was worried about this as well. Granted, the books over time have gotten pretty repetitive. I've read the first 9 and have begun to wonder if Uhtred is EVER going to get Bebbanburg back. I've also lost track of who the hell people were in the past books because the names are similar. Lol.
