Bobby Flay. He isn't a "real" celebrity but I get the impression that he thinks he is and he just looks like a smarmy little punk.
He is a celebrity in the cooking world, but yeah, he's obnoxious. He has his own show called Beat Bobby Flay where other chefs compete to outcook him. My wife is convinced that the only reason other chefs are allowed to win is to maintain the illusion that it's not fixed, but he wins 3/4 of the shows.Jab said:

I know it sounds dumb. But I've researched it a bit. It's legit. Dude wins. After they pick the competitors dish Flay gets a few hours to have someone go to the store to get the ingredients he wants. But he truly doesn't know what it is before that.
He's really that good. Kind of an ass. But a damn amazing Chef. If I was him I would've tried to use my popularity to smash Giada over and over.

Well, they did go to Italy together from some new show on Discovery+.
I wasn't aware of his major awards resume until yesterday or today. Youngest EGOT in history and one of only 16, I think. No wonder people want him involved in so many things; seems like his name increases the likelihood of an award nomination or critical praise.Quote:

Bobby Flay is a great entry. I'll add my favorite Bobby Flay anecdote was a Food Network celebrity chef panel for Christmas circa 2012 maybe with Alton Brown, Giada, Rachel Ray, and Ina Garten. Bobby had clearly hit the sauce before cameras started rolling and his best holiday advice was "Have lots of ice available. When you mix a new drink, don't reuse the ice!"
