Right.

I played Ultima Online and I think the beta of Diablo 1 came with an expansion pack, back in like 1999 or so.

I played that game and was like this is the hardest game I've ever played... also scary.


(I was about 13).

Yeah dude the vibe of the original was perfect. It WAS scary. Great storylines and the dungeon was so freakin creepy. Also because we only had one computer at the time I would always play super late at night.

Loaded up RE1 the other day on my portable emulator thing... That game's mechanics are so god awful, game is almost unplayable. How did I love it so much?
