I will leave the series poll to others, but we got the Twilight Zone marathon a couple of days ago.

I love Doctor Who, DS9, ST: TNG, and Stargate

Give me your favorites so it is not a voting contest on what I love.

You don't love Firefly or Battlestar Galactica? I guess I have to dig the recesses of my rusty old brain to come up with a couple Quantum Leap episodes as well.

All of these. But I liked Sliders, too.

Well I love those too

And I am a huge Quantum Leap fan.

Did I tell you this at Olsen?

Next generation is the best, hands down.

Other greats I enjoy/have watched:

Deep space nine

Battle star galactica (new one)

Firefly

The Expanse (so far)

Stargate SG-1

Mandalorian has potential .... remains to be seen
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

Loved both Star Trek TOS and TNG. The Mandalorian has thus far been utterly fantastic. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the new Battlestar Galactica, and equally surprised at how that original series did not hold up at all when I re-watched it about a decade and a half ago.

Another one that I enjoyed when it first aired (but thought was bad whe I tried re-watching several years later) was Earth 2.

Any love for Lost in Space or Space: 1999?

Probably. We discussed many things beyond Fightin' Texas Aggie Baseball but it has been a long long time since our seats were next to each other at Olsen Field. For STOS my one suggestion "Balance of Terror."

Mandalorian! Yes

Benny bought me a Baby Yoda for Mother's day.

I do have a dorky, but cool, kid.

And yes I know he has a name.

But he will always be Baby Yoda to us

I loved the new Lost in Space.

Does Watchmen count (if so I nominate episode 6 This Extraordinary Being and episode 8 A God Walks Into Abar)?

Also Westworld definitely has to count (my specific nomination is season 2 episode 8 Kiksuya, but I'm sure there are many others that could qualify)

Watchmen, yeah

Goes in.

Although, I think this happened before. But I watched "Lower Decks" tonight and it is my fave of all ST episodes.

So I asked.

It would be funny if it was a different episode this time

To me, it is like Inner light.

Just a look at them in a different place.

I wasn't sure anyone else ever watched Space: 1999.

We're talking Episodes here, right?

for me, STOS "The Devil in the Dark" was the first episode I ever saw. I think I was 8 or 9, but maybe younger. I was HOOKED. I remember telling my Dad I wanted to watch more of the show "with the guys with A's on their chests." So my love of sci-fi kinda stems from that episode. Not necessarily the best ST episode, but definitely a good one.

I'll also add "Metalhead" from Black Mirror. I think the world that episode introduced is ripe for a series all of its own. What happened? Who built the "dogs"? Are there human antagonists (perhaps another country using robots and AI in a war), or is it a SkyNet-type situation? What were the little dog-house looking things along the side of the road they drove down? So many questions, and I'm dying to know!

Roughly when I was 7 or 8, couldn't find Star Trek on TV but came across that show. At the time I enjoyed it just fine, but recently watched a couple of episodes via Amazon Prime and found it to be unwatchable.

Hard to pick for TNG. Top three, in no particular order, would be Measure of a Man, Chain of Command, and The Inner Light. For Stargate, any Rodney Mckay centered episodes.

Also loved the Hero of Canton episode from Firefly. But Firefly as a whole was amazing.

"The Unnatural" S6 Fp19 is my personal favorite. How can you not enjoy an episode about a renegade shapeshifting alien whose love of the Game allows him "to be just a man."

Probably the best X-Files episode is "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" S3 Ep4

+1 for the unnatural
I would also add "Window of Opportunity" from SG1. Awesome Groundhog Day episode played brilliantly by Richard Dean Anderson and Christopher Judge.

I think an obvious answer would be the greatest Doctor Who episode: Blink

As for my beloved Battlestar Galactica, I think if I had to single out one episode, it'd be the very first of the series after the mini-series: "33"

By the end of that one episode, I was as worn out as the crew of the Galactica. That, or "Exodus: Pt 2"

I've watched fewer than 5 episodes of the x-Files ever but the Unnatural is so fantastic and has the great Jesse Martin as the alien baseball player and Vin Scully himself as the announcer.

33 from BSG is perfection.

One of the most shocking episodes of scifi is in V when it was revealed the visitors are reptilian and evil. It completely shifted expectations of the show.

Agreed.

Also wouldn't mind a best Black Mirror episode poll. Each episode is so different and some are as long as full movies.

My favorite Stargate episode is Window of Opportunity. Where O'Neill and Tealc relive the same day over and over. He plays golf through the stargate. Kisses Carter, quits.

Twilight Zone has a bunch of fantastic episodes, but I'd pick "To Serve Man" if I had to pick just one

A few I'd throw in there:
Westworld - Trompe L'il
Rick and Morty - The Ricklantis Mixup
Futurama - Agree with the Godfellas one above. Also Jurassic Bark
Since it seems we're counting Star Wars, the mini-arc of Ahsoka and Maul at the end of Clone Wars
Black Mirror - Nosedive
