Doing a rewatch of this show and the banter between Eric and Ari is the best ever.

Also, this show couldn't be made today. The racist, sexist and metooish statements made in this show, it would get canceled so fast.

The show itself is meh.

Johnny Drama is hilarious.

Ari Gold is... well... gold.

Really only enjoyed this show for those two characters. Was going to post some Ari quotes, but I could literally link every video Ari was ever in. Also, I feel like linking any video of Ari Gold would get me banned.

The actor who played E (Kevin Connelly) had some real life smoke show celebrity girlfriends. He is a member of the ***** Posse along with Leo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. Because of how he is in real life, I always felt like him getting with Sloan was pretty believable on the show.

What's funny is that the blandest, most boring character on the entire show is supposed to be the hot superstar actor.

I really liked the first few seasons, but it got bad near the end. The movie was bad. Just bad.

To be fair, him being a mediocre actor was a big part of his character.

And disagree on the movie. It was pretty good and better than pretty much the final 2 seasons, imo.

No, he was a pretty boy actor that most directors didn't take seriously. Even Ari admits in one episode that he doesn't think he's a good actor.

Although him getting hired by Scorsese was what turned his career around.

They never really address if he's considered a better actor later in the show, but maybe so.

That one is more believable to me because Turtle has some actual skills (the sneakers) and is sort of trashy. Hot girls don't mind some dumpster diving from time to time.

Eric is a stuckup preppy d*bag with no real talents and a little man complex.

Sloan just turned 45 in real life and has been cast as Lana Lang in the CW's new Superman/Lois Lane whatever it is.
And still Wood with a capital W

Not movie exec Ari. Maybe, he loses the movie exec gig, or leaves due to unwillingness to play nice and do what he's told in a corporate environment, and goes back to the hustle of schmoozing stars and trying to build an empire for himself. Would have to be Piven, otherwise there's no point.

Agreed. Piven is amazing in that role. Just watched the GTFO episode. It was great when he gets his edge back by yelling at his couples therapist on the golf course.
