I've never seen the clip in OP and wow... that takes the cake. That is painful.

It's obviously intentional, but I have trouble watching Impractical Jokers sometimes because some of the things those guys do is just painful to watch...

The thing that's so bad about this one is that the grand majority of people can relate to it. It's super uncomfortable to watch AND it simultaneously brings to mind the times that you yourself spectacularly face planted in your own dating life. IMO that's even worse than watching Michael Scott do something that's inhumanly awkward, but also 100% unrelatable (ie Scott's Tots).

I don't know if it's cringe but the movie Nightcrawler is full of envelope-pushing scenes that are uncomfortable if you have any sense of decency or propriety.

Not that scene. I liked that scene. My vote is the scene in Endgame where Scott, Natasha, Steve and Smart Hulk are eating discussing the potential of time travel and the kids ask for Hulk's autograph and Scott gets drawn into it. It's actually a great scene for creating a truly awkward moment.

The dinner party is the best episode from The Office, no disagreement about it's brilliance. But nothing is more awkward that what goes down in the classroom when Michael breaks it to the kids he's not paying for college, nor are they getting laptops for college, just laptop batteries.

Honestly I love Scott's Tots. For whatever reason I can handle that. I cannot handle Michael proposing to Carol or Date Mike or dumping Pam's mom. I will literally walk out of the room until the scene is done.

I just can't watch the Michael Scott dating life implosion. Too painful. Though Dinner Party is my favorite episode. Though that is probably because Jan in a nightmare.
