Wife and I have watched the first couple of episodes. She loves all things Sir Terry Pratchet, and the Watch series is my favorite of the Disc World books. All that said, this is WAY more punk style than I ever imagined it. Been several years since I've read the books, so I'm a bit rusty on the source material. Still enjoyed what I've seen so far!

I think the casting departures from the books would annoy me way too much.

Working my way through the diskworld books this year. Just finished the 6th one. City watch starts with the 8th so I'll get there soon. I will say that if done properly, diskworld could make for amazing TV. Light fantasy, solid British humor, but also great characters and a ton of interwoven stories. Definitely feel lighter than Hitchhiker Guide, but every story has a bit of cleverness to it.

The Good Omens show last year was outstanding IMO, and that turned me on to Terry Pratchett.

BBC has done some adaptations; I haven't seen any, but I'm told that they vary pretty widely in quality.

Hogfather and Going Postal were good.

I've been meaning to give this a watch as I've read several of the books, may have to check it out.

Actually just started reading Nation and it's really interesting so far.
