Haven't seen a single one of the Drama nominees for Film.

For Musical/Comedy -- it's gotta be Hamilton, right?

Mandalorian nomination is pretty cool and unexpected.

Doubtful it wins, but still awesome to see.

Bill Burr should have been nominated for Mando.

We've all been at home for a year and I've seen almost nothing on this entire list except for *****t's Creek, The Crown, The Queen's Gambit, and The Undoing. And the first two we were watching before COVID hit so I've only seen two shows on here during a year of quarantine. That's kind of wild.

You have to think the gal from Queen's Gambit is going to run away with that award, but as stated I haven't seen any of the other shows.

Biggest snub is Rhea Seehorn for Better Call Saul.

Second biggest would be "What We Do in the Shadows" with zero nominations. It's second season was brilliant.

I fully expect lame-ass *****t's Creek to beat Ted Lasso. And that's just sad, man.

Watch Unorthodox if you have Netflix

4 episodes mini series about a married young woman that flees her ultra orthodox Jewish community to go live with her mother in Berlin.

while i liked Borat and really enjoyed Hamilton, that is a historically bad list for best comedy or musical. Has a filmed play ever been nominated before?

Palm Springs was fantastic and is the only one i can take seriously on that list.

this isn't a knock against indie films making it. i like indie films. Palm Springs was for sure indie.

The guy from Normal People not getting nominated is ludicrous

Personally I'd have put King of Staten Island over Borat or Palm Springs.

Your annual reminder that the Golden Globes are the We Got This Covered/Grace Randolph of awards ceremonies. Don't get me wrong, the show is always a fun watch, but the awards themselves are a complete sham, voted on by a small contingent of shady foreign press who basically nominate whoever they want to invite to their little party each year.

If she doesn't win, it's a sham

" Riz Ahmed - "The Sound of Metal"
I couldn't find a thread on this film. Holy cow. I really enjoyed it and Riz deserves all the praise. He did a phenomenal job on a very emotional and moving movie. I highly recommend it!

It's on Prime btw

I May Destroy You/Michaela Coel is the biggest snub of them all.

The fact that Emily in Paris beat this out is an embarrassment
