I'd equate it to Bruno Mars a few years ago. A little more unknown to the over 30 crowd.

Maybe. But Bruno Mars was one of the best halftime shows ever. The surprise Red Hot Chili Peppers song was awesome.

Yeah he's not new. But when you think of people like JLo and Shakira, Coldplay, Maroon 5 he's a bit newer to the scene than who they usually get.

I'd lump the killers in with them. Something in between pop and rock. Girl music. The Foos seem like an obvious choice, but they have skewed heavily pop lately.

They did a run of classic rock bands, Who, Stones, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, etc, and people complained because it wasn't "exciting" enough.

Tonight was ok, but only knew the cant feel my face song, so wasn't real into it

We still don't know when movies are coming back, so no sense in paying astronomical prices to advertise them until we do. Hopefully summer.

I'm interested in the show, however I do NOT want that flashback showing her and the lamb. Jodie Foster's brilliant telling of the story is all we need of that. We don't need to see it now.

They actually swapped into this super bowl from the rotation of nbc/fox/cbs so they could hype their paramount+ launch. NBC (or FOX, but I think this was supposed to be NBC's year) was happy to swap back to a non covid normal year with full attendance, normal ratings, normal parties, etc.

It was NBC, because NBC wants to be able to use the 2022 Super Bowl to lead directly into their 2022 Winter Olympics coverage. So a win-win for both networks.
