I know this is pretty random, but I figured it might be worth sharing. I don't know if any of you watch concerts on YouTube, but this is one of the best I've seen. Not just the video quality, but the band is on point and the crowd is awesome. Watched the whole thing last night.

Oh and very good setlist, too.

You're not wrong.

The guitar and bass players are just the touring band, for some reason the original band members haven't been touring with them for the past few years.

They're one of the last great rock bands. Hot Fuss is an all time album. The follow ups haven't been at that level, but they're all good for at least one banger.

For me they're one of just a handful of "modern day" rock bands (let's say post-00) that can bang out a whole setlist and and have an entire crowd sing along to each and every song.

Maybe Foo Fighters and Coldplay are the only others.

But they have some bangers even in their later stuff. I just love "The Man" for some reason.

All that said, I don't think a single band on Earth can get a crowd going like Mr Brightside. Especially in Europe.

I saw them in Dublin Ireland in 2018. I was walking back to my hotel from a pub and stopped by a side gate when they were announcing the band. The gate guard was letting his friends in and I just followed them in.

How cool is that? Great show.

Back when I lived in Vegas (want to say 2010 or so), I was doing karaoke at Dino's. Pretty sure I did a george jones song. The dude that followed me was Brandon Flowers...he sang west end girls. Had no idea who he was until my girlfriend told me. Maybe 15 people in there. Cool memory

Saw them in Grand Prarie back in 2006 or 7. Anyone from DFW - do you remember when they started playing them on KDGE? I think I remember first hearing them on The Adventure Club rather than normal programming, but I'm not sure if I'm misremembering.

My introduction to them (I think) was seeing them play in The OC.

They may have already hit the radio with "Somebody Told Me" by then, but they certainly weren't the enormous success they became quite yet.

Funny thing is, I didn't really get into them until I got to college. Really starting appreciating them in 06-07, right before Sam's Town came out. After that album hit, I was all in.

I guess the fact that they were so hugely popular in my high school years kind of turned me off of them at the time.

They sold out Gypsy in 2004 I believe, but it wasn't one of those wait in like for 12 hours and hope to get in type of thing.

They put on a good show, but I remember being somewhat disappointed in how short the set was -- not realizing that they only had 1 album of songs so there was really only 45 minutes worth of music to play.

For their whole catalog, I'm pretty meh, but I can freaking belt out "when we were young" and "all these things I've done" alone in the car.

I'm hard pressed to say I like many songs more than "all these things"
