I realize I'm several years late to the party but I had been wanting to watch this show for a long time and finally started it a couple of weeks ago and just finished and thought it was exceptional. Searched this forum and didn't see a thread on it but any other fans of this show?

I thought both Rami Malek and Christian Slater were particularly excellent. If I have only one complaint about the show it's that there are times where I felt like I was watching LOST and couldn't really comprehend what was going on or real versus not. Maybe I have a tiny brain.

Highly recommend this show for anybody that hasn't gotten around to it by now.

So far I've read through the first two season threads. One thing I noticed that wasn't discussed and is a really cool easter egg. I told a buddy to start watching this the day after I did and during one of the episodes he paused the tv screen and took a photo of it with his phone.

It was in season 2, episode 1, at the 11:08 mark and it was a QR code and he text it to me. When you open the code it takes you to whoismrrobot.com containing interactive messages from Mr. Robot and the ability to play chess on it as well. It has the E Corp employee manual. building floorplan, stuff on fsociety, etc.

I did not recognize that actor but yes, he was phenomenal. Loved the scene of him signing Dom's book next to a cardboard cutout of himself.

Curious (since you're bothering to read the old threads) if your feelings are similar or different from perception at the time of each season. My recollection is that s1 came out of nowhere, blew ppl away, s2 lost a lot of fans, and anyone watching s3 was in for the long haul, and that s4 was a decently satisfying finale. Did you feel certain seasons were superior to others, or just view it as a consistent 40 episode binge?

It was all pretty consistent and ran together since I would often watch 5 episodes at a time or so with no commercials and no season gaps so it's hard to separate into quality of seasons.

It was also nice to watch without commercials and uncensored. I was wondering if all that language got through on USA (especially Darlene's potty mouth). And there was some pretty extremely violent scenes for regular network television I thought.

I was thinking that episode 7 of season 4 was one of the best things I've ever seen. I looked it up on IMDB just now and it's rated the 9th best episode in television history. Six episodes ahead of it include three from Star Wars Clone Wars and three from something called Attack on Titan. Only other two ahead of it is an episode from Chernobyl and at #1 Ozymandias from Breaking Bad.

edit: I did see some complaining on the old threads complaining about the finale "Hello, Elliot". It's rated 9.9 and the 25th best episode on IMDB of all time.
