Way late to the party on this one. One of those "I'll watch that sometime" series that I saw on Amazon Prime and finally decided to binge my way through.

I liked it in general in a lot of ways. I am slightly confused about the "you don't belong here" dude. Why does his presence in the last episode compel Jake to do a 180 and leave Sadie to her own life without his interference.

Also, for those who read the book...good adaptation in general?

My favorite Stephen King book! Read it twice, and I never revisit media after I consume it. It hits time travel, Kennedy assassination and tons of accurate Dallas/FW locales (i live in dfw). Even the love story was awesome. The TV show leaves out keys parts to the love story and changes the bill turcott character significantly.

The book also has tons of stephen king easter eggs throughout, including some of the kids for IT

We are in the Metro as well. My wife and I were actually saying we wish there was a "making of" feature to explain how they got Dealy and other Dallas locations to look spot-on for the early 60's. I have been down there and to the museum several times so seeing it accurately shown in the show gave me goosebumps!

I got to meet Ruth Payne at the museum last year and hear her speak about what it was like knowing the Oswalds in the months leading up to the assassination. Chilling.
