Lots of activity from them including a new single. New album out in April. One of my favorite bands. For those that don't know them, the best way I can describe their current stuff is Dad Alternative. He talks a lot about his kids, but also delves into philosophy, anxiety, depression, etc. As a saved by grace dad of 2 who dealt with anxiety and depression growing up, this is naturally something I connect with.

I went ahead and bought The Gold on iTunes after hearing it on SXM, but haven't really caught the rest of their stuff. I was on a harmony kick when I got it, solid tune.

That entire album is excellent and is quite a bit different from their earlier stuff. This new single is a continuation of the past album in my mind, but still feels fresh.

Been a huge fan since Mean Everything to Nothing. The new single is great. I've been listening to all their old stuff, pretty much exclusively, for the past week or so. Really pumped for the new album.

The new song they released a couple weeks ago with USERx is awesome too.

Was just listening to Andy on SiriusXM this weekend. He was the guest on some show on Alt Nation and they debuted Bed Head. Also played some other songs, including this one. I had no idea Paris Jackson was making music.

I believe Andy was the producer for her album.

EDIT: And Robert

I hadn't heard that one! That track is so sick! Thanks for sharing.

Mean Everything to Nothing is probably in my top 10. Hard to go wrong with any one of the songs. Good to know there's other die hard fans on here. I got to see Bad Books when they were in Dallas 1.5 years ago. Definitely a worthy side project if you haven't heard.

Been one of my favorite bands for a long time. Absolutely Love Mean Everything to Nothing as well as I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child. I have the albums after, but those two really stick out for me with Simple Math being not far behind. Their music typically has so much emotion and lyrics full of meaning. Haven't listened to the new Album yet, but looking forward to it.
Also really really loved when they were on David Letterman with the girls choir singing backup on Virgin. Definitely worth watching on YouTube. Creepy and ominous and full of energy...all in the best ways possible.

They debuted another song last night ahead of the album release on Friday. Really digging this one, probably the most out of the 3 they've released so far.

Watched it upon release, and it reduced me to a sobbing mess. My fav so far as well.

If it gets too "artsy", I can't follow it.

LOVE the song "The Alien" and the video...just don't fully understand it.

The album is out, and it's been met with positive reviews.

I love the direction they're headed in, especially the lyrical themes. One or two of the songs are a little slow for me, but overall this will be one I listen to for a while

Favorites are Inaudible, Keel Timing, Bed Head, Telepath, and Dinosaur. I also love how the songs flow into each other. What are everyone else's thoughts?

Pretty much the only thing I've listened to music-wise since Friday. Really enjoying it, more so than A Black Mile to the Surface I think.

Dinosaur and Obstacle have gotten the most play so far. Also really liking The Internet. Great closing track, and the sound reminds me a lot of The Silence on ABMTTS. Wasn't sure about Keel Timing when it was released, but its grown on me a lot. Keel Timing and Bed Head are great as sort-of companion tracks, or whatever you want to call them.

And like you said, I really like how the songs flow from one to the other, especially through the first 6 songs or so.

Let it Storm and Way Back are probably my least favorite, and I can't even say I dislike those songs.
