For those wanting to introduce the Jurassic series with their younger kids, watch Camp Cretaceous on Netflix. It's pretty good for 3rd or 4th grade or so.

Yes it is a cartoon, but people do get devoured. I loved watching it with my 3rd and 6th grader.

It isn't as good as this thread though.
