Anyone watching? I watched episode 1 last night and loved it. Will watch episode 2 later this week.
General summary from the HBO website: Based on the Fredrik Backman's bestselling novel of the same name, Beartown explores the role a junior ice-hockey team has in a small community, the hope, the secrets that could tear the town apart, the courage it takes to go against the group and the consequences of how we raise our children.
It's not in English, but the captions don't bother me. Seems pretty gritty so far. I believe there is an act of violence (possibly murder?) at some point, but I'm not even sure if that's correct and how that will fit into the overall story. I just randomly caught it on one night, so I'm going in knowing nothing about it.
