Just now seeing this? Pink Floyd, Paganini, Puccini, and, the best, himself. Interesting list.

John Williams, too. He kept using Star Wars music from 1977 in other films, what a hack!

Since most of those are stealing from himself, I can't help but not care.

In general, though, I'm a little torn. I kinda think Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius, but also, damn that amazing Phantom riff is straight from Pink Floyd.

I guess I don't see it as that huge a problem in the grand scheme of things. Even if ALW stole a 10-second sound bite, he still created music for a whole musical. I'm against plagiarizing, but the musical is still super impressive.

Ramones plagiarized the Ramones on every song.

In Amused to Death by Roger Waters there is a line in one song where he sings "and lloyd-webbers awful stuff runs for years and years and years" on It's a Miracle.

Not sure if still referencing him but it ends with
An earthquake hits the theater
But the operetta lingers
Then the piano lid comes down

And breaks his ****ing fingers
It's a miracle

Great quote by Angus Young back in the day

I'm sick and tired of people saying that we put out 11 albums that sound exactly the same. In fact, we've put out 12 albums that sound exactly the same.
