It's a mashup of Sweet Home Alabama and Werewolves of London, but I'd say it borrows much more heavily from Werewolves of London than it does Sweet Home Alabama.

During my time in the USAF, this was clearly the go-to song at retirements and promotions and it was often sung by family members or spouses. It always made me cringe especially the "standup" part when you were guilted into performing that very action.

I love Heart and Anne Wilson is simply a powerhouse of a singer...that voice is just power! However, even she detests "All I Wanna Do" ...won't sing it...it is super creepy (more than it is bad) ...although over time it seems worse and worse.

This is such a good point. I haven't listened to Muse in forever but they had a few recent songs ("recent" as in probably 2013 or something) that came across as trying way too hard to be an anthem or to get everyone to sing along with the chorus.
Side note: I also hate when any song tries to take on that voice of a generation persona. Especially if the chorus is chanted or something as though people are marching and signing. It feels so unearned!
