I binged DOTA Dragon's blood the other day and liked it pretty well. For PG13 had some good intrigue considering that a genocidal war was the side show to the Dragon Hunter.

It's right on par with BB imo. It's a little slower build but the writing and acting is every bit as great. You should definitely keep going.

Second this. Get through season 1 and the ball gets rolling. On season 5 now and it feels like Breaking Bad.

*****ts Creek was also a slow start and was fantastic after Season 1 (also on Netflix).

IMO BCS goes at a much slower pace than BB. Maybe watch BB first and that might help overcome some of the slowness when you try to watch BCS again.

i enjoyed Poldark for what it was.

a little to much exposition and ocean staring, but if you're interested in Cornwall at the turn of the 19th century....

last season goes a tad off the rails imo, but not GoT off the rails.


somebody else mentioned it, but i'll echo watching Bodyguard. Everybody i've ever recommended it to has appreciated it.

That sequence was jaw dropping for the wrong reasons. The final dance at the school had me disbelief that they would put something so dumb for the season climax.

Trying to avoid spoilers, I think it made the bad guy stop and have the same reaction as the viewers:

"WTH are they doing??"

How did that make it to screen? No director or producer or actor or anyone said "Hey, can we consider something different?"

I just finished Longmire yesterday and I love this show. You've never realized how much murder goes on in Wyoming until you've seen this show. It's basically Mogadishu up there.
