Kind of just seeing if there is anything I've missed in the post GoT era as far as fantasy offerings but here is how I rank things I've seen so far.


Witcher
Shadow and Bone

His Dark Materials

The Nevers (from what I've seen so far)
Fate the winx saga (I can't believe I watched this)

Feel like I'm forgetting something. I am also aware of cursed on Netflix but reviews seem so bad for that I'm not interested.

Vikings is pretty cool.

The big ones coming are Lord of the Rings and Wheel of Time (along with the return of The Witcher).

Also seen last kingdom, Vikings, and barbarians. Consider those to be of a separate genre but enjoy anything similar to those as well.

I'd rank Magicians higher. Also, I just saw after looking some of these up that the order was cancelled after season 2 (one of many to suffer that fate from Netflix). The Order is a "wife and I need a show to watch during lunch" type show if that makes sense. I was entertained though and would've kept watching new seasons.

Personally I would add The Expanse to your sci-if list.

i miiiight throw Lock & Key in there as well. i liked that one.

His Dark Materials is really interesting, though it suffers from a lack of exposition at times.

Good Omens was also incredible, and I haven't watched but See on AppleTV+ would fall into this category as well.

It's definitely closer to historical fiction since it only has a few mystical elements, but I see some include it. The few pieces it has aren't magic, dragons, or anything else significant in shaping the series. It's mostly people asking about the future and seeing the gods.
