Wrapped this series up in just 2 nights.

It's the story of Halston, the fashion designer, as portrayed by Ewan McGregor. Goes through all of the trials and tribulations of him building-up his empire from the nothing. I have zero interest in the fashion industry, but thoroughly enjoyed it. It's an intense ride watching him try to balance-out his professional life with his personal life. And yes, considering his sexual orientation, the series does (graphically) focus on that aspect of his life.

Highly recommend!

Read up on him after finishing, and learned that Andy Warhol was part of his close inner circle for most of the Studio 54 days. A little surprised they left him out.

Also the corpse in the vent actually happened. Pretty nuts.

watching it with the wife. Pretty much playing out as I expected. The sex scenes are way too much - thank goodness for fast forward. Was a Halston Z-14 guy back in the day.

I watched it and it kept my attention. I thought the actress playing Liza Minnelli was the best part of the show.

Man, those sex scenes were way too much.

I'll forever wonder now what Ewan Obi Wan has been doing with his lightsaber.

Just finished. The acting was superb- all main characters were fantastic in their roles. I would suspect someone wins or get nominated for an award later this year.
