How did this show come and go without anyone knowing about it? I guess cause it was on Crackle.

Anyone else watching this? I'm on episode five and I am FULLY hooked. I feel like I did back when I discovered Breaking Bad.

Incredibly tense show. Very relevant with the cryptocurrency angle. Fantastic cast with a hell of a performance by Martin Freeman.

Highly recommended for fans of crime thrillers like BB, Ozark, etc.

yeah, we just started it this week. some very tense scenes and episodes.

I didn't think it was possible for Martin Freeman to play such a despiseable character, but he's nailing it in that show.

Any non spoiler info/background on it? It still running? Or finish properly?

From what I've seen, it was canceled by Crackle after S3 and picked up by Netflix.

There's no word on a new season but in the short time it's been on Netflix, it's stayed in the top 10 every day.

Wouldn't be too crazy to think Netflix might do another season if it continues suceeding on Netflix. Basically what they did with Cobra Kai.

I just started this last week on a recommendation from my bud, and I think I'm on episode 5 or 6 also. In the words of Ron Burgundy, that escalated quickly!

Man it is intense, can't wait to see how S1 ends up. Love the crypto angle and the disparate worlds/characters coming together. Couldn't believe it was made several years ago and I never heard a thing about it.

I gave it a shot and decided within the first 10 minutes of S1 I was gonna see this one to the end. Very well done, and all of the storylines balance well against each other and I think the pace is perfect.

Love S1 and 2, 3 is a bit silly.

Not any more. Sony sold it to Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment 2 years ago.

Just finished Season 1 after starting Friday night. I can't remember the last time I binged something so quickly. I think I might compare this one to Ozark, but Startup seems to have a better pace.

Thanks for sharing OP, been looking for a new show since I finished Ted Lasso last week. Freeman's character reminds me some of the character he played in season one of Fargo, seems like a good guy but he's not.

Started this a few weeks ago and finished Season 1 last night. Really good show and hoping it continues into Season 2.

That ending in season 1. I was expecting something, but certainly not like that...

Im all in with this show, Im hooked after 4 episodes. The acting is really really good. Pretty good cast considering it was a relatively unknown show on an unknown network. My one complaint is Adam Brody's character. I cringe everytime hes on screen. I wish he played that character differently.

I finished episode 1, before I continue does the female character that is starting the internet money thing get less annoying as the show goes on?

I think she does. her character definitely gets some hard reality checks.

I struggled to relate to her in the beginning. She gets much better as season 1 advances. Nathan is a little annoying too but I like Ronald. He is a great character.

Who is Nathan? Don't think I've seen him and Google's no help. Does he come in late in season 1?

He means Nick I think. (Adam Brody)

honestly Ronald was the most compelling character by a mile in season 1. the show honestly could have been about his character and how well he acted the role with everyone else being supporting cast.

I was just telling my friend he's by far my favorite character arc. Went from hating him early on to being my favorite character.

A bit of a side track but did you guys know this show was filmed in San Juan, Puerto Rico? That's where my family is from and I had no idea it was filmed in San Juan until my dad told me. It's crazy how similar it looks to Miami. The Tell is when they're near the ocean, it's super wavy and not as clear as Miamis beaches.

The scene of him pitching Gencoin to the asian investor had me cringing at first, like oh here we go he is going to mess it up. Showing up with a messed up face and the reactions to it were priceless. Then the look on the investors face at the end after the pitch had me cracking up. Great scene all around. Almost reminds me of Entourage.

I've never been to Puerto Rico, but I knew almost instantly that it was filmed in another country, because it reminded me so much of Mexico. Something about the streets and houses instantly takes me back there, and I can't quite describe what it is. But PR looks a lot like Mexico. (At least where Izzy and Ronald's houses are.)

I think it's the houses all being concrete rather than wood, but it's hard to say for sure.

I hearya, a lot of these countries look the same. Rio, Cartagena, Miami, all remind me of San Juan. I was in the Condado area of San Juan recently and I was thinking to myself how much it looks like Miami. Hard to tell the difference.
