IMO, the main characters all have likeable moments or short stretches...but hard to root for any of them really.

Back to the top. Just finished season 1. What a great show and ride to the season finale. Like someone else said, one of the fastest binge watches I have done in a while. I highly recommend this if you like dramas like Ozark, The Wire, Narco and BB.

With the way it ended, hopefully they will continue the series with same writers and directors. And of course cast. Although I hope Izzy quits smoking. She's not a "smoker" and it looks contrived.

Do you think Nick's final act help mend his relationship with Ronald. I realize Ronald thought it was stupid but maybe it earned Nick some street cred. Or, does Ronald dislike Nick more now because it was such a bad move by Nick?

I'm still up in the air on this show. About half way through s2 and still don't really like any of the characters. I don't really buy VC's entertaining the idea of giving Adam Brody money, and also don't really dig the overly productive 10x programmer in Izzy. Just finished the episode where Touie dies and not sure I want to put up with the mental drag this show delivers.

The second season doesnt seem as good as the first so far. Also, Izzy can be such an unlikeable (B*tch) character most of the time.

Yep, I agree with this. I'm currently 6 episodes into S2, and while I still really enjoy the show, it's not nearly on the level of S1 for me so far.

I don't feel the absolute need to watch the next episode immediately like I did with the first season.

And I have to agree about Izzy. I know this will sound shallow, but she's just so unattractive to me that it's almost off-putting. I don't need her to be a 10 to be interested or anything, but her looks, coupled with her ****ty personality, make her completely unlikeable to me.

Yea I think their Araknet business idea isnt as entertaining/realistic as the gencoin idea in the first season. In the first season you could really get a feel for how big gencoin could be, and it seemed so realistic with all of the crypto talk going on now a days. Araknet just doesnt have that same appeal.

Its a shame they portray Izzy like this because she is pretty when she fixes herself up, but they make her too manly on the show.

I think another criticism for me is that its trying to be such a "Miami" show yet its filmed in San Juan, Puerto Rico and its obvious. Although the cities look similar, you can tell its filmed in Puerto Rico by looking at the houses, the beaches, the buildings etc. I wish they had that South beach vibe where they film actually on South Beach and different Miami neighborhoods and not the fake Puerto Rican Miami neighborhoods lol. I've noticed the scenes on the beach and there's no one there, anyone thats been to Miami knows that theres always people on the beach lol.

The Haitian gangster seems like a poor man's Marlo Stanfield, he is the most interesting character but it seems like a knockoff from The Wire.

I'm just a few episodes in and have to agree. I can appreciate an intense crime drama, but I'd like to have some fun as things unfold. So far it's not fun. Pretty sure it's just not my cup of tea, and that's ok.

I'm just over halfway through the first season and I like it so far. But I do worry it'll have the same problem Silicon Valley did where they kept throwing too many speed bumps in the way of the main characters having success.

3 in and it is great.

For this reason, I kind of think they shouldn't make any more seasons. It seems like it'll be a rinse and repeat situation.

I wish agent Rask was on season 3. He stole the scene Everytime he was on camera. The transformation from season 1 to 2 of his character was incredible. He actually became pretty likeable in season 2 and it was endearing seeing the unlikely friendship between him and Izzy form.

So I've binged the entire 1st season and now into the 2nd based on this thread.

Overall a pretty damn good show.

The only thing I'm not really liking so far is the whole storyline with Ronald's son. I feel like it had it's place and now I'm the first part of S2 they're trying to make him a bigger part of the story. It gets old seeing him break down and cry into his dad's arms.

Other than that no complaints. As states before it moves quick, is pretty tense, and overall well done.

I think she fits the mold of a genius computer nerd coder type.

Meh, I always hate characters that they try to make over the top edgy and hard core.

Season 1 is great. I didn't enjoy 23 at all.

Agreed, seasons 2-3 kind of tapered off a little bit. Although I liked season 3 better than 2.

Yeah...I couldn't stop watching S1 and blew threw it in a couple days. I'm in the middle S2 and I'm not feeling it. It's now something I watch when I get a chance.

Just seems really disjointed and scattered. Things are bouncing around without any real story development and it's missing the tense suspenseful scenes and pacing that made S1 so good.

I agree. I think I finished Season 1 in 3 evenings. It took me a couple weeks to finish season 2, and I went 4 days without watching it at all until I watched the season 2 finale last night. Reading this thread, I don't have high expectations for season 3 but I'll finish it eventually.

I am guessing it is not going to be appropriate for an almost 13 year old who saving his money to buy another computer so he can mine bitcoins.

Like everyone else my watching rate has decreased with each season. Just watched the FBI chick smooth out her fast food burger wrapper before she ate it and had a "holt crap" moment. I thought I was the only one who did that.

I need that paper to be flat as a plate and don't understand you savages who just open up the wrapper and dig in with paper sticking up all over the place.

Yep, no chance you'd be OK with this one, it's no holds barred for sure.

With those requirements it does all 3.

Not unless I'm driving.

The show opens with a full frontal nudity sex scene, so that's a no go.
