Lol. Had never heard of her until after she died. I do have a picture of my wife next to her scantily clad statue in Corpus though.johnnyblaze36 said:What was international superstar Selena doing playing at Denim and Diamonds in Bryan?Aggie7156 said:

The only one that comes to mind but wasn't the last is Michael Hutchence of INXS 4.20.1997 at Starplex at a festival concert. Not certain how many shows were played after that as that wasn't a tour but they would tour that fall before he died and his last show was 9.27.1997.

I was at the infamous STP show in The Woodlands a decade ago or so. They stopped touring the next day due to his "issues"

would love to hear your take on it. still listen to them very regularly.
Talk about escaping cancel culture. Somehow Howard Stern makes a hundred million a year to be a shell of what made him huge. Don't mean to derail. Just had an epiphany that I don't think there's ever been anybody in entertainment history to dodge such bullets. That's some seriously toxic **** among all the rest he built an entire career upon.Quote:
A few days later, Howard Stern mocked Selena's murder and burial, poked fun at her mourners, and criticized her music. Stern said, "This music does absolutely nothing for me. Alvin and the Chipmunks have more soul ... Spanish people have the worst taste in music. They have no depth." Stern's comments outraged and infuriated the Hispanic community in Texas.[169] Stern played Selena's songs with gunshots in the background on his show.
