Wife and i are staying in, cooking a fine meal and then watching a movie.

Problem is, we arent really movie people as in we have no idea what to watch after about 2006.

What more recentsuggestions do yall have for the following?

Dark comedy?

I did. The problem is we start scrolling through movies, can never decide and cant figure any current or recent movie to watch.

First would be comedy/ dark comedy
Second would be probably period piece.
Third would be rom come

Comedy/Dark Comedy - Bernie. Without a doubt this fits the bill. Set in small town Texas and Jack Black is great in it.

Period Piece - The King's Speech. Love this movie.

Rom Com - The Big Sick is a great date night rec from earlier in this thread.

Watch Kingsman! It's a great action flick that's got a great plot...doesn't take itself too seriously...and you'll still probably get sex afterwards
