Has this been done before?

Pose a "who would win" scenario between two characters and feel free to set any rules to this battle. And make it as detailed or not detailed as you want. For example, the penultimate:

Goku (Dragonball Z) vs Superman

Setting: Earth and Earth only - no space battles and no Goku moving the fight to a different plane of existence or some crap.

Rules: none other than the setting above.



Feel free to comment below your own scenarios or your opinions on any a poster makes. Characters can obviously be from different franchises. If from the same, try to pick a battle that HAS NOT HAPPENED on screen or with sufficient canonical detail to make the outcome not already obvious or known.

Nice one. Is Indiana Jones similarly transported into 1936? Because otherwise he doesn't exist, right?

Anyway - John McClane wins. He's a fighter and well versed in tactical combat and all weaponry. Indy is a professor who learned on the fly.

McClane wins hands down.

I agree Batman wins this bout. Boba Fett is no Jedi or sith, so we don't have to worry about the force coming into play here. The big disadvantage for Batman is how his armor would react to a blaster shot from Boba Fett. It's unclear if it would deflect like a bullet, be absorbed, or simply burn a hole through Batman's body and give Boba an instant victory.

I'd have to think, based on the terrain, Batman could figure out how to use it to his advantage to disable Boba Fett's technological superiority.

I think this is a really good matchup, but I lean Batman.

Malone wins and I'm not sure it's even close. Switch out Jordan for Rodman.

This is a good one. Semifinal one / gotta give it to Leonidas. Achilles is famous for losing his heel and he loses it again to the scrappy swordsmanship of Spartas finest.

Semi final 2 - Thats a really hard matchup. I think I give the edge to Maximus, only because he's been trained as a gladiator to fight for survival and slay all those in his way. Wallace, while also an inspirational figure, fought for his survival yes but survival of an idea. Give it to Maximus after a long and brutal fight.

Finals: Leonidus vs Maximus. So Greece and Rome meeting once again. I say Leonidus. Both fighters are insanely talented and brutal but after staving off the Persian invasion with just 300 men, Leonidus gets the edge

I would pick Achilles in the 1st semifinal. His speed and strength are off the charts. Look how he handled Hector, basically toying with him. The heel injury was a total fluke! (side note: Hector vs Leonidas would be awesome, too)

I would also choose Maximus over Wallace. Not only was Maximus a gladiator badass, but an elite trained Roman general. The fighting tactics of Wallace's time lost some of the precision of the Roman legions.

Final of Maximus vs Achilles - still going with Achilles. Overcomes the odds and the gods!
