I agree that Kaleb is an interesting character, but I think Gerald is my favorite part of the show. Maybe the sheep, but Gerald gets the biggest laughs from me.

Love this show. It's the most TG in tone show they've done solo. Kaleb needs to be in other shows with Clarkson.

I appreciate the recommendation. I never watched Top Gear, but I thoroughly enjoyed this show. It's a slow burn, but it grows on you by the end of the second episode.

My old man put me onto this show and enjoyed every bit of it.

Clarkson hit it out of the park with this one.

A great deal of humor while at the same time showing the difficulty of farming and the importance of what they do. After watching this while also suffering through Hammonds painful island show and Mays mind numbingly dull cooking show I'm beginning to wonder if Clarkson was the true talent driving Top Hear and Grand Tour.

I love Top Gear/Grand Tour so very much. Binged this series, and genuinely enjoyed it. I love how Clarkson treads the line between irreverent and sincere. All the guys do that well, but Clarkson in particular. He's a pro at that moment where they rehash the crazy, and then he explains what the car/experience meant to him.

I needed this.

If there were ever a commercial for less government, this season would be it. The hoops they have to jump through, for the smallest things, are astounding!

Government isn't some mythical thing that is just out there and gets in the way on purpose. It's just made up of regular people that participate in it. The problem is most people are stupid jerks.

Having spent countless hours and dollars trying to negotiate similar bureaucratic agencies, similar to what Clarkson went through, I beg to differ.

Made up of individuals, yes. Mythical, no it's very real. Intent on getting in the way? Maybe not, but the result is that regulatory power is absolutely real and (as pointed out in the show) has the ability to levy fines, impose prison sentences, and destroy self-determination.

To me, that's significantly more powerful than a few people acting like jerks

I love this show. Clarkson is very genuine, and always seems to be 'in the moment'. He appreciates everything from bees, to the chicken coup couple, to the people who participated in the hedge competition.

But man....how freaking frustrating is his journey? It's ridiculous that a 'council' has so much sway...to the point they are shutting down local farmers out of pure spite. His restaurant and store was going to help so many local farmers. There are so many layers upon layers of regulations, anyone can cherry pick anything out of the regs to shut you down if they so choose.

I saw an update online, he eventually had to shut down the restaurant for good. The council gave him something like 6 days or 6 weeks to comply with a list of demands, which were impossible to do inside the timeframe they gave him. Many other councils have weighed in, and commented that his treatment has been ridiculous and targeted.

He needs to use his voice, and campaign for change. There is a void left with Brexit and the English government needs to jump in and assist their vital industries, like Farming....yesterday.

Have loved both seasons. I hope Amazon lets someone else pick it up after Season 3.

Love this show almost as much as I enjoyed Top Gear..... Grand Tour is a bit hit and miss for me. Having said that after Clarkson's Farm I've come to believe that Clarkson was the magic behind the success of Top Gear with the other two merely along for the ride.

Loved Season One.

Just finished Season Two, and it is also great. Not as funny, a bit darker regarding the human nature revealed in The Council, but very well done. I enjoyed him and all the people who work for him and with him.

Well done.
