My wife always makes fun of JB for his sad songs. But he's had a lot of heartbreak. His first wife committed suicide just a few months after they got married, leaving him with a young son.

Later, long-time partner Daryl Hannah accused him of being physically abusive.

In between all that, he agonizes over ever social issue known to man, from nuclear power to too much plastic. It's gotta be depressing.

Last I heard she was dating Neil Young, that was about 2 years ago.

Huey Lewis ,along with Hall and Oates, I really didn't care for in the 80s. Too "middle of road". Now, I'm like "turn that up"!

That's a forgotten one.

It's funny, bands like Slade, Moody Blues, and Deep Purple all had their last headlining runs after getting some play on MTV in the early 80's. Then that was it, deemed "too old" after that. Anyone I'm forgetting?

I've never heard that song - but 1990 was in the period of 1989-92 that I had given up on radio as it was crap.

Coincided with my first car that played CDs so I burned my own and played what I wanted to hear.

Which is how I had no idea who Nirvana was until they were already huge.
