A lot of people will remember Silverchair's song/video Tomorrow from '95. How many remember Straight Lines from '07?

How about Blackmore having:Zombie Jon Snow said:
I love Rainbow I play their music all the time on my hard rock playlist.
Founded by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore one of the original members of Deep Purple, and for the first 3 albums singer Ronnie James Dio (yes the guy from DIO) who also sang for Black Sabbath after leaving Rainbow.
Ha! A guy in my dorm would blast this song over and over every time he got drunk. Which was all the time.Philo B 93 said:

Well, I also don't know how much Blackmore cared about doing interviews or working with the media either.Zombie Jon Snow said:
yeah i just feel like they would have been more well known if their vocal sound was consistent. So it's cool he had great singers but it is why Rainbow is not as well known.

Years later, I was trying to remember what song it was that he was obsessed with. Really struggled to remember even a snippet of lyrics to google. Even reached out to one of my old dorm buddies to see if he remembered. Neither one of us could recall.
Then one day the band name just popped into my head, and it was easy to find after that.

Until today, I'd never even heard of Rainbow, and I consider myself a pretty big rock fan. Thanks to you guys, I now have 3 new songs added to my Rock playlist.

My parents graduated high school in the 50s so I have always liked that Huey Lewis "doo-wop" song.Aust Ag said:
Huey Lewis ,along with Hall and Oates, I really didn't care for in the 80s. Too "middle of road". Now, I'm like "turn that up"!
