Much better than we anticipated. Played all the 80s stuff, including Hagar's, You Got to Love Somebody and Don't Talk to Strangers and An Affair of the Heart.

Campy but a lot of fun.

He actually put on full scrubs as Dr. Noah Drake (General Hospital) and walked thru the crowd singing, Dont Talk to Strangers.

Didn't take himself too seriously and had a lot of 80s fun with a few timely covers. Dude must be in his early 70s, but he had tons of energy (and make up?) Very cool 80s montage on the big screen during the songs really took you back.

Obviously, Jessie's Girl was the last song with a 5 minute lead-in build up and then 8 minutes of JG. I actually never really liked the song but it sounded so much better live with half a fifth of rum in my belly.

Shame I forgot my parachute pants...

"I've Done Everything For You" is the song Sammy wrote and Springfield covered.

He does a show on Sirius often. I think it's on Classic Rock or 80's on 8, where he does theme programming.

One night, it was "Songs my wife lovesbut I can't stand."

I've seen him in concert a few times, and met him at a charity event in Tucson in the late 90s. He signed a shirt and several CD booklets for me. He puts on a great show everytime.

Yea, I think he's like 71 now. Crazy...

He's still making new CDs too
