Really like The Chef Show with Jon Favreau and Roy Choi. It's basically an offshoot of Favreaus movie called Chef. Good little feel good movie by the way.

On the show they visit various restaurants, celebrities, boutique farms, etc and typically cook or sample whatever available to them where they are. Really good, low key cooking show and a quick watch.

The episode I'm watching right now has them visiting Skywalker Ranch which has its own garden and Dave Filoni is hanging out with them.

Guy's Grocery Games. It's a competition show so it doesn't qualify here.

Man, I miss Parts Unknown. It was the best kind of "prestige" television programming.

Besides The Chef Show and Somebody Feed Phil, The Taco Chronicle is a good one. Also Stanley Tucci's Italy series on CNN.

Gordon Ramsay's Uncharted

Although it's current season seems to be over the top produced and staged, but still interesting to see the places he goes, people he meets, and food he cooks.

Not sure it counts, but I always enjoy the show where the dude has to eat some big thing, usually something really spicy, in a short time period. Man Vs Food. ( Probably a competition against the food?)

I never watched season 2. Did he still turn every episode into how Asian food is the best food and how they do everything better than everyone else? 85% of the show was great, but that really turned me off.

Anything with Matty Matheson

I can't stand the feed Phil show, he's annoying AF. And I realize it takes a lot of nerve to say he's annoying after naming matty matheson, possibly the most obnoxious dude in food.

And to actually answer the question, 100% Good Eats.

And though it is a competition show, Battle of the Brothers (with the Bryan and Michael Voltaggio) on Discovery+ is really great.

I thought this was about cooking shows, which unfortunately don't really exist anymore. I was happy at first when the Cooking Channel spun off from the Food Network, but the "cooking" part of that has gone away pretty much also.

I used to have favorites:

Jamie at Home
Tyler's Ultimate
Molto Mario
Emeril Live
Brunch with Bobby
Everyday Italian (mostly for the view)
Barefoot Contessa (Jeffrey, that's fabulous)
Luke Nguyen's Vietnam
Alex's Day Off
Chinese Made Easy
Indian Food Made Easy

Used to fill up my DVR and pick out a genre for meal inspiration.

I used to enjoy seeing what new way Giada was going to expose her cleavage today, but once you realize she has t-rex arms and a large head out of proportion to her body, it's all you notice.

Molto Mario was good.

Watching his slow burn when he realized Italian food will always be favored over Asian food is one of my favorite parts of the show.

Just watched this today, which is what brought me to this thread. The opening episode where Samin spends the whole time in Italy was fantastic, although you could see her struggling when she made the pasta, which required some creative editing.
