I'm still going to have to watch this, even with all the bad seasons and episodes.
There was really nothing like the first time you see the first couple episodes of season 1, and just about all of season 1-4 is excellent.
This is on a different note, but I feel like the show did such an amazing job of making you 'feel' that it was in Miami...to the point where it even made me want to go there at times. So much of the show, outside of the serial killings, was in great locations.
Maybe thats because I've never lived on the coast, and only visited?

Harry probably had a decent pension plan and life insurance as a career cop.
In s2 they did mention how cops use one of 3 marinas in miami because those are the only ones affordable on their salary. So we know public servants do afford those boats, especially single men with no children like Dexter.

A 28' Whitewater would have been over $200k brand new.
Also Dexter has a medical degree so he's probably paid significantly more than a street cop. Looking online, Blood Splatter analysts average is $70k and Specialists make north of $97K.The Debt said:Sea Speed said:
