My biggest F U Covid moment was the fact that I had pit tickets to Sturgill Simpson in Sugarland w Tyler Childers opening. So pissed!

I had tickets for Dallas... I was also going to see him in Glasgow, Scotland at the coolest venue I've ever seen about two weeks before Covid shut everything down. One of my biggest regrets was backing out of that. Won't make that mistake again.

Gave it a listen this morning on my run. Just under 28 minutes. I liked it and look forward to a second listen to pick up on the words and the story better.

Same here couldn't miss the opportunity to see him play at such a small venue. I forget if we got tickets for Friday or Saturday night. Starting to get nervous that this concert is going to get Covid canceled.

I've seen him twice and been disappointed both times. I probably won't go again but I'll keep buying the albums.

Loved the album. It was short but felt like it all worked as a very cohesive and innovative project. It played very well to my specific taste in classic country/bluegrass/story telling. So might not be for everyone but I thought it was brilliant.

I think he is by far the best in the modern country business. Childers is close but we need to see a bit more from him to put him in the same class.

This dude could sing the words on a shampoo bottle and make the listener feel a little emotional.

This album is a 30 minute western. I've listened 3 times and each time I picked up on something new.

I've given it a few spins now. Big fan of every song, the story and musical composition.
Hard to pick my favorite songs, but I keep coming back to Shamrock. Story about Doods horse. Juanita is also a solid track and strugil brings it. But man, the song about Sam. I've only had 1 dog, and his name was Sam. But nothing like this Sam. This Sam would have destroyed my Sams ass.
I love that he has a idea and vision for an album and he just goes for it and IMO nails it every time. wish more artist would bounce around like this for creative ideas. Reminds me of Willie.
