Texas country music lost a great one today, Chris Wall passes away after a long battle with cancer. If you like Texas Country and are not aware of his music it would be a good time to get into his songwriting.

Had a lot of good times at his shows, he was a friend.

Ride along....

Oh damn. One of my favorites, and a super nice guy. Only time I've ever taken my mom to a honky tonk was to go see Chris at the Broken Spoke one night many years ago. He came over and visited during the break before going backstage to do a "costume change" out of his sweat drenched shirt into a new one for the second set.

*and we weren't friends like you, just someone I had seen and talked to enough to feel comfortable saying "hey this my mom's first time to see you!"
