Gotta say I find the idea of Die hard 2 and 3 being better than all LoTR, Jurassic park 1, and batman 1 hard to justify.
JP1 massively underrrated.
Rocky 4 was better than the first 3 and I will go to my grave with that.

TDKR should be way higher. It wasn't as good as TDK, but it's still an awesome movie.

I assumed it was the first 3 with Keaton and Kilmer. If it was the Bale trilogy then those rankings are stupid. All 3 were awesome and TDK was better than Batman Begins.
They didn't mention the Dollars trilogy:

3) The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
I've only seen the last one, but it was pretty damned good. I wonder how the first 2 are.

If that is talking the Nolan Batman movies then that ranking is crazy talk. They claim that all 3 batman movies are worse than the first 2 Blades? BS. BB and TDK are better than all the Marvel movies and TDKR is not far behind. And of the TDK is clearly the best.WelchAg said:Champ Bailey said:

Underrating X-Men 1 and 2, and I always thought Die Hard 3 was better than 2. But otherwise pretty stronk
Star Trek should actually be 2,3,4; the first one was not really anything to the next 3 in that series.
Agree that Temple of Doom is too high and Last Crusade too low. Die Hard 3 is far superior to 2. Alien is better than Aliens.LOTR should favor the first slightly while the other two should be a bit higher.

Most of those aren't really trilogies, but part 1-3 of 5, 6, 10.

First jurassic park should have a full bar. Godfather 1 should have a full bar. RotK should have a full bar or close, it won best picture.

I'm one of 3 people on the entire planet that thinks the first Star Trek movie was a good one, but I would never rate it higher than ST II, III, IV, VI, Generations, or First Contact. Was definitely a better movie than V, Insurrection, and Nemesis.West Point Aggie said:

I'm with you. I rewatched it a little while ago and it was much better than I remembered.
I'm not by any means defending Matrix Revolutions, but I liked it more than Reloaded.

I agree with the OP. 3 is far better than 2 with Die hard. 1 and 3 are top notch while 2 was good.
Exoskeleton machine gunner suits > white dudes with dreadlocks and sunglasses. I literally have never seen either movie a 2nd time and if pressed to I'll just watch the Will Ferrel skit from the MTV movie awards instead.
