Watched this last night on Netflix. Wife and I enjoyed it. Yes, its a mostly predictable bank heist movie. But a few things that let me enjoy it:
1) Story, acting, and filmwork were decent to good. Not direct to streaming bad which is very common. The somewhat autistic smart guy is a little flat, but I think that's the mood they were going for for that guy.
2) No in your face wokeness. Enough can't be said about this. The stuff coming out of Hollywood these days is mostly an in your face woke fest that makes it hard to enjoy a movie without the woke getting in the way of the movie.
3) No over the top super fake special effects. The fakeness of the Mission Impossibles of the world are getting annoying. There were a couple things that stretch the imagination a bit, but for the most part it was grounded in reality.
Probably not a movie I would have wanted to pay theater prices for, but then again I'm not sure I want to pay $30 to Disney to watch Jungle Cruise either given how bad the special effects looked in the trailers.
