Guns N' Roses released a new track called Absurd last night. They played it at Fenway a couple nights before. It's a reworked track from the Chinese Democracy era that was called Silkworms. The music is cool but the vocals are trash.

pretty big fat meh to me.
A few things:
- I didn't like that Matt Sorum or Steven Adler weren't brought back for the reunion at first, but their new drummer is a beast.
- I have no clue why they recorded Axl's voice like that. When I saw them a few years ago his voice was fine aside from him getting winded a lot, which has always been the case with him.
- This song is a big pile of "meh"
Sounds like Axl is on his Johnny Rotten imitation AND obviously the filtering on his voice is a little...uh...absurd.

"Why is he trying to sound like Johnny Rotten?" was literally my first thought. It's also an incredible repetitive song. Seems like it's a 20-second song on a loop.

My favorite band of all time. But that song sucks donkey balls.
