I admit some of the acting was pretty bad but i enjoyed it quite a bit anyway.

It wasn't the best movie ever, but it wasn't the worst. As others have mentioned, the dialogue and acting was pretty bad in parts, and the story had lots of moments that felt unfinished or incomplete. Certain parts were rushed or forced, others were undeveloped.
